Return and Warranty Policy

At IC Solutions, we want you to always be satisfied when you shop with us. It turns out that sometimes we know that you may want to return items. You also have legal rights against goods that are not as described, are not fit for purpose or are of unsatisfactory quality.

The IC Solutions return policy aims to describe the steps that must be followed to return your IC Solutions Terminal or other products purchased from our online store, or other authorized resellers. This return policy is part of the Purchase Conditions that regulate online ordering in our online store.

We may decide to apply this Return policy and/or proceed with a refund also in cases where the Customer is not eligible to use the IC Solutions Service due to compliance, risk or security reasons.

I. In case of return, always contact us or the Partner

In the event of a problem with your IC Solutions Product, purchased from us or from an authorized Partner, or in any situation where you wish to return an IC Solutions Product, you must first contact us at the following email address info@ic-solutions.pt or contact the Partner where you purchased the Product. You must describe the problem or request more information about the Product. We may suggest that you exchange your Product for another item that may be better for you. We will do our best to be brief and provide the best possible solution.

II. Voluntary return policy:

1. You may return most Products within 15 days from the date of purchase of the Product, provided that the following conditions are met:

- The Products are complete, unused, undamaged, and
- You provide or send the original or a full copy of the invoice or purchase document for the Product you wish to return, and
- Please note that you must return each item in the same condition in which it was received. This means that the items must be returned new, unused and complete.

Please note that this return policy does not affect your statutory rights.

The following Products cannot be returned under the Voluntary Return Policy (unless they are faulty):
- Goods, terminals or cards that have been personalised to your specifications or are clearly personalised;
- A service, if the provider has provided it in part or in full;
- Digital content (including applications, digital software, virtual cards) that is not supplied on a tangible medium.

2. Refunds

If the conditions for return described above are met, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the Product, as indicated on the invoice. Refunds will be transferred via bank transfer to your account at a reliable bank.

Cash refunds are not possible even if you paid in cash.

Please note that it may take up to 2 weeks for us to receive the returned item and process your return, depending on the type of courier service chosen.

If your refund request is approved, it may take between 5 and 7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

If the refund does not appear in your Account after this period, please contact us.

3. Refund of shipping costs and return expenses

You will be refunded your shipping and/or return expenses for IC Solutions Products if:
- You have received an incorrect item, or;
- You have received a damaged item, or;
- You have received a defective item, with information within 48 hours.

III. Standard Warranty

Your IC Solutions terminal has a 1 (one) year warranty from the date of purchase of the Products, included in the purchase price, which covers the IC Solutions terminal and the original accessories included in the packaging. This means that, during the Standard Warranty period, we can repair or replace your IC Solutions Terminals or accessories free of charge if they are defective.

The warranty does not cover cables, accessories, plugs, power supplies or other items other than those included in the original packaging in which you received your IC Solutions Terminal, but were delivered additionally at a later date.

Consumable components such as batteries, print heads, power supplies, etc. are guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship for 6 (six) months from the date of the purchase invoice.

We are not responsible for any damage or defects to the IC Solutions terminal caused by improper use, or by accidents, malicious damage, scratches, excessive humidity, liquid ingress, electrical voltage, or other environmental conditions that are not suitable for a normal and safe working environment.

You must always keep the warranty sticker intact. Your right to replacement under the Standard Warranty is subject to this condition. Any signs of tearing, separation or other damage to the sticker that separates it constitute a deprivation of your rights under the Standard Warranty.

IV. How to Return IC Solutions Products

If you wish to return an IC Solutions product, you must explain the situation by email to info@ic-solutions.pt, explaining the issue(s) and wait for a response and instructions.

V. Elimination

It is not permitted to dispose of the IC Solutions terminal, including the battery or other components, together with general household waste, but only in the places duly designated for disposal of electronic devices.
